Bumper Beam ASSY
Make a new design of bumper beam, consisting of steel in order to replace it with aluminum extrusion for weight reduction of vehicle,
and select a specification meeting its performance and weight reduction through Bumper impact analysis and low-speed collision analysis.
MIG Welding
[ Robot + CMT ]
It is a method by generating an arc between the filler metal supplied automatically and the base metal while blocking the intrusion of oxygen and nitrogen and by melting the filler metal and base metal, using the heat generated from the process. It is applied to materials such as aluminum.
FSW
[ Robot + FSW Head ]
It is a method of welding aluminum plates using friction heat and mechanical stirring, and It is welded at a relatively low temperature,
so oxidation and thermal deformation are small, and the bonding strength is excellent.
Structural Adhesive
It is a method of bonding parts through using an adhesive and chemical/mechanical external force,
which is advantageous for lightening and is used with mechanical bonding to improve mechanical strength and to provide air tightness.
Mechanical Joining
It is a method to apply local plastic deformation to the surfaces using bolts and nuts, etc.,
and because of its low heat input during the bonding process, it is used for bonding aluminum or poorly welded heterogeneous materials.
Development of new high-strength 6000 series
alloys to replace 7000 series
- If the existing low-strength material is replaced with a high-strength new alloy, it can be thinned using excessive rigidity, making it lightweight and possible to reduce materials.
- Increase productivity by replacing 7H01 alloy that is hard to extrude with high-strength new alloys
- Easy to recycle by replacing 7000 alloy materials containing Zn
